MOSCOW REGION, March 11, 2021 – FSUE "VNIIFTRI" has confirmed the compliance of the Institute's Quality Management System (QMS) with the requirements of the international standard ISO / IEC 17025. The assessment was carried out by a special commission of the Euro-Asian Cooperation of State Metrological Institutions (COOMET)*.
“The VNIIFTRI QMS has been recognized by COOMET as meeting international standards on a regular basis since 2005. This recognition is one of the most important indicators of the work of the State National Metrological Institute, confirming the high level of competence of the enterprise, the level of maintaining the reference base, as well as the importance of scientific and organizational achievements. The work of the special commission, which took place at VNIIFTRI in the period from January to February 2021, is the final stage of the regular inspection, which is carried out once every five years,” noted Dina Chepurnaya, Deputy General Director for Quality.
Based on the results of the work of the special expert commission, VNIIFTRI will receive a Certificate of QMS compliance with the international standard for a period until 2026 and the opportunity to confirm its calibration and measurement capabilities in the form of CMCs on the Official website of the International Bureau of Weights and Measures (BIPM). Specialists from Belarus, Germany, Ukraine and Moldova took part in the work of the commission.
