The Council of Young Scientists of VNIIFTRI was created to unite young scientists and specialists of FSUE «VNIIFTRI» for joint work aimed at creating new scientific developments and introducing research results into production, as well as promoting the professional development and growth of young scientists and specialists.

The main tasks of the Council are::

• Development and implementation of programs and activities aimed at involving young employees in active professional and public activities.
• Creation and maintenance of a unified data base of FSUE «VNIIFTRI» for sharing experience and knowledge between young employees, as well as for informing young employees about new achievements and trends in the scientific environment, grants, support programs for young scientists and specialists, conferences, scientific and practical seminars and other information concerning young employees of FSUE «VNIIFTRI».
• Assistance in structuring and presentation of the results of scientific activities of young employees for the purpose of further publications in leading domestic and foreign printing publications.
• Organization, together with the administration of FSUE «VNIIFTRI», scientific and scientific and technical conferences, scientific and practical seminars.
• Assistance in solving professional and social and domestic problems of youth.
• Contribution to the preservation and restoration of the existing, as well as the formation of new traditions of VNIIFTRI.
